# Letterbox Banner · + Date Block — Build Pack

Component build specification for the dev team. The **+ Date Block** Letterbox banner builds on Essentials, adding the **Date Block** presentation: date and attendance move into a left tile. It reuses the shared Date Block element (the same tile as the Cards groups). Token-led: build against semantic tokens, not raw hex.

## Inherits Essentials

The banner slot model, media rule (media = background), content schema, type ramp and colour tokens are the shared Letterbox Essentials model and do not change. This variant adds the Date Block and its attendance chip. Pull exact measurements from the Sketch page named above.

Date and attendance move into the tile; the date/time line above is retained.

## Acceptance criteria

- Inherits the Letterbox Essentials build; adds the left Date Block tile + attendance chip.
- Date Block reuses the shared Date Block element (Sky tile, mode-agnostic; numerals Text 1 on-fill).
- Both Light and Dark render correctly; Accent rose and the Sky tile stay mode-agnostic.
- Type roles resolve to the Typography Role Registry; no raw hex.

## Open questions

- The current artboard also carries a **Speaker Strip** — confirm whether it belongs to **+ Date Block** or a separate **+ Speakers** variant.
- Breakpoint behaviour across sizes is not yet resolved.
