Chrome
The persistent page chrome that frames every hub page.
01
The Chrome family
Building outThe persistent page chrome: the fixed shell that frames every hub page and stays constant across it, distinct from the content it surrounds. Per the Object Framework, chrome sits alongside the content nesting ladder (Section → Block → Component → Element), not on it. Chrome is the App Bar and the Footer. It is neutral, brand-tinted structure; Rose appears only on interactive controls. The App Bar is documented; the Footer follows.
App Bar Ready
The full-width top navigation bar: workspace logo left, primary nav and Sign In right. Light and Dark, brand-tinted surface.
In design
Footer In design
The persistent page footer: secondary links, meta and legal. Supports a custom footer variant per hub.

Notes
- Chrome frames the page. The App Bar and Footer sit outside the content nesting ladder. They are the fixed shell, configured once at hub level and present on every page regardless of what content loads inside.
- Chrome is App Bar + Footer. The persistent shell, not per-page content. A chrome slot can be re-skinned or swapped for a custom variant (e.g. a custom footer) and stay chrome; that is a variant, not a reclassification.
- Headers are not chrome. The generic Page Header lives in its own Page Headers family; the Event Header is event content in Events. Both are authored per page, so neither is chrome.
- Neutral by default, Rose for interaction only. Chrome surfaces are brand-tinted structure; the interactive Accent (Sign In, CTAs) is the single exception.
- Status. App Bar documented; Footer to follow.
