Moody's is the first client Brand Pack built off the WDS master — a portable, self-contained re-skin. This page mirrors the canonical Moody's pack in Notion; values are not edited here. Typography is built; Colour and Logo are forming as the Sketch re-skin confirms them.

The two families

Brand fonts

Financier carries the display moments; GT America carries everything else.

Display only — hero & document titles · Semibold 600 / Bold 700

GT America

Headline, Title, Body & all functional roles · 400 / 500 / 700 · 400 italic

Notes

Financier (Commercial Type) — the editorial display serif, reserved for the Display family only. Headline and Title drop to GT America, so serif appears only at hero/document scale.
GT America (Grilli Type) — replaces Inter across the whole functional set, and takes Headline + Title too. Width: Standard.
Role metrics — size, line-height, kern — inherit the WDS Typography Role Registry unchanged. Only the font family and weight resolution change per client.
Both are licensed fonts (not on Google Fonts). Specimens render true where the fonts are installed locally and fall back to a serif / grotesque stack otherwise — self-hosted webfonts in /assets are the follow-up.

GT America's ladder has no SemiBold, so the registry's 600 roles resolve up to Bold. Financier keeps its Semibold.

Consequence

Blockquote italic → GT America Regular Italic.

Forming

The themeable colour set mapped to WDS tokens — being captured as the Sketch colour swap proceeds.

Two values captured so far from the first chrome object: brand navy #0a1264 (Primary) and near-white #f3f4f6 (Text 1 DM). Brand Secondary, Accent, Text on light, and the surface scales are to confirm. Full token mapping lives in the Notion pack and lands here once the swap is locked.

Logo & marks

Forming

Three lockups (Full · Icon · Text), two artwork colours, SVG + PNG — mirroring the WDS logo model with Moody's artwork.

Awaiting Moody's lockup assets. The App Bar currently carries the Wavecast logo as a placeholder, flagged for replacement. Master artwork will live in the paired Drive folder.
