The Banners bucket
In designA singular promotional object — always resolves to exactly one event — placed in a block to promote a single subject. Owns its own opaque surface: it doesn't reveal the section behind it, it is the visible block. May be dynamic in which event ("next upcoming event") but never in how many.
Banner block
A single promotional block, opaque — the visible block itself.

Model
- Surface test — opaque. The Banner owns its surface and reveals nothing behind it — the inverse of a Hero.
- Cardinality — singular (event). A Banner asks "which one?" and returns one object. A full-width listing returning one result can look identical — but a Listing asks "which set?". Only cardinality distinguishes them.
- Grouping axis — the designed set. provisional Defined once the designs settle.
- Status. In design.
